I went back for day 3! I promised myself last year that I would go to all three days of the festival this year, if possible. So I headed back down to the waterfront this afternoon.
I discovered this gem of a Strawberry Cupcake by Sweets from the Earth.
The icing was light and a bit cream cheese-y and the whole thing had a nice strawberry flavour that was sweet enough without being too sweet.
I even got my copy of Artisan Vegan Cheese signed by Miyoko Schinner!
All in all it was a great festival this year. I got to try products I hadn't heard of, try new food and buy some of my favourite things at a discount. The festival made me feel really grateful for the city I live in and I got to appreciate it in a new way. I'm going to try to get down to the waterfront more often.
